The LIFE Nature SAVE THE FLYERS Project

The LIFE Nature Save the flyers Project has the main objectives of conserving the important populations of chiroptera which can be found in the Amiata Area (Grosseto) and the Gola della Rossa and of Frasassi (Ancona) Natural Park. The aim is also to consolidate the small populations of Red Kites present in both project areas – a result of previous repopulation programmes.

The final conference of the LIFE project Save the Flyers will take place on 5-6-7 November 2014 in Santa Fiora (GR, Southern Tuscany, Italy).

Conference topics: the conservation of the Red Kite in Europe, the interactions between birds and electric lines.
